Vor ein paar Wochen habe ich mir “Splinter Cell : Chaos Theory” gekauft. Das Demo habe ich damals irgendwie 20 mal durchgezockt, danach vergessen, inzwischen gibts das bei Amazon für’n Appel und’n Ei
Seitdem habe ich abends hin und wieder ein, zwei Stündchen an dem Spiel gezockt, hat viel Spass gemacht, seit ein paar Tagen war ich fast durch, also dachte ich so gestern abend “zocks kurz zu Ende, dann kannste es deinstallieren und dann ist dein Tischrechengerät wieder Spielefrei”.
Gesagt getan, zugeguckt wie sich der große Obermotz versucht selber umzubringen, ihn gerettet, danach muss man den zu nem Fenster tragen, dort ne Bombe platzieren, nach zehn Sekunden machts bumm und die Endsequenz kommt.
Beziehungsweise sollte kommen. Denn mein Rechner frierte vorher komplett ein.
Reset, Rechner neu hochfahren (jeder Boot tut gut, gell ?), Spiel neu starten (dauert ne Weile weil man sich drei Introsquenzen angucken muss), Spielstand geladen, nochmal alles gemacht … Eisfach.
Also wieder Reset, das Stück abgebissene Tischkante notdürftig angeklebt und das ganze Spielchen von vorne.
Die weiteren Einzelheiten erspare ich euch jetzt, ich habs (inklusive herumschrauben an den Einstellungen, DVD säubern etc.) etwa noch zehnmal versucht bevor es (nach inzwischen über einer Stunde) zum grandiosen Finale kam :
Quicksave kurz bevor der Counter runter ist, Freeze, Reset, Spiel neu laden, Quickload … und ich steh irgendwo im schwarzen Nichts, über dem Level, kann mich nicht bewegen und nichts funktioniert. Muss ich erwähnen das ich nur diesen Quicksave-Spielstand hatte ?!
Nun gut, ich werde also in meinem Leben nicht mehr die Endsequenz von “Splinter Cell : Chaos Theory” sehen. Gibt auch schlimmeres.

Sag ich doch schon immer – lieber Mensch ärgere dich nicht spielen – da kann höchstens der Würfel vom Tisch fallen!
